
Cheryl E. Papalko (Smith), 68, passed away October 5, 2016 in Indianapolis, Indiana surrounded by her husband and family.
She is survived by her husband Jeffrey R. Papalko; son Rodd J. Papalko his children: Zachary, Nicholas, & Talbot; son Kirk J. Papalko wife Becky their children Kiera & Vincent; daughter Lindsey Knight (Papalko) husband Michael their children Ashlie, Henry, Jacob, & Serenity. Her siblings Craig Talbott (Pat), Holly Vargo (Aaron), Scott Smith (Joan), and James Blair (Marilyn).
Cheryl was born in Cleveland, OH. She attended Richmond Heights high school where she was a cheerleader. She attended some college studying office management. Cheryl then became a dental assistant and office management. She worked for Dr. Schmidt & Dr. MacDonald dental office for over 10 years. Then she worked for Starbucks as a barista.
Cheryl was a beautiful wife, wonderful mother, and courageous fighter. She inspired many family and friends with her wonderful spirit and open heart. Cheryl will be greatly missed and always loved and remembered
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, from 12 noon to 3 pm and from 5 pm to 8pm. Visitation will also be held on Monday, October 10 from 9 am to 10 am at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church, 8155 Oaklandon Rd, Indianapolis, at 11 am.
